ADVANCE COMPUTING
This course is aimed at students who have a substantial background in computing and want to study advanced computing concepts and technologies in more depth. Application and usage of term “advanced computing” can be extremely diverse depending upon the environment. For e.g.: The majority of computer users do only a few things with their computer: write documents, send email, listen to music, browse the web, and play with photos. Within each of these things, they likely only know how to do the bare minimum they need to in order to get the result they desire. Advanced computing would teach a broader range of skills, and would go into more depth with each. It is aimed at students who have a substantial background in computing and who want to study advanced computing concepts and technologies in more depth.
The programme is suitable for students who are primarily interested in a career orientated towards development and applications in industry, while the Masters programme in Advanced Computing is aimed at students interested in a research career either in the industrial or academic sector.
